Prospective Validation of a Novel Remote Monitoring System for Noninvasive Assessment of Left Ventricular Filling Pressure
Abstrakt
Ambulatory monitoring of cardiac filling pressures improves outcomes in heart failure (HF), but currently available technologies are expensive, require invasive implantation and antithrombotic therapy, and have had limited clinical uptake. The novel Seerlinq HeartCore system (Conformité Européenne–certified, MDR Class IIb) uses photoplethysmography (PPG) analysis based on artificial intelligence and hemodynamic principles to estimate left ventricular filling pressure (LVFP) noninvasively. The algorithm outputs the diastolic reserve index (DRI), a continuous variable inversely correlated with LVFP ranging from −100 to 500.
